Saturday AM on Vanderbilt

Man, what a great morning it was in the 'hood.

I was up and out doing my laundry, and I decided to walk down to Joyce for some coffee and a treat (took me two attempts, as I first walked there before they were open). People were out and about more than usual, it seemed. It's a beautiful, sunny day, and the buzz was nice.

Oh, and Joyce was hopping!!!

    Agreed -- it's lovely today! I wandered over to have brunch at Beast, and would have done a little more time on Vandy but I had to get to a friend's moving sale. Yay.

    It was a great day for walking; I started out at 7AM and just kept going. I ended up above the GW bridge in Fort Tryon Park at like 1:00. My longest NYC walk yet.
