The Summer Brooklynian Gathering: Picnic. Mount Prospect Park. Sunday, June 28th. 1 PM

Long time readers are likely aware that a meet-up is held approximately once a season.   In the summer, the event is often a picnic.

This year, the event will be held in MOUNT Prospect Park, because people have previosuly stated they had difficulty finding us in the larger park. The location makes it convenient to restaurants with very good take out menus to feed you: Lincoln Station, The Islands, and many Mexican places.

...as well as a number of bars with good beers, to quench your thirst after said picnic.

I am pleased to report that RSVPs are coming in to the picnic's Facebook event page, and in person while walking the dog.

Predictions are that the picnic will last from 1 - 3 PM, and then move to a nearby bar:  Sepia, Washington Commons, Covenhoven, etc.

Hopefully the weather holds up. I saw a forecast for rain on NY1 this morning.

If it rains, we will be even easier to find.

The weather people now believe that Sunday will be sunny.

Is the picnic area bicycle accessible? 

Yes.   

It is also accessible to pets and children.
