DA investigating fatal crash of Rabbi Rapp?

My takeaway is that the police and NYPD don't see eye to eye and there's enough tension for them to push this info on a local Jewish site? 

As for criminal charges I just hope a real investigation takes place with no politics.

I suspect the DA routinely reviews traffic incidents that result in a fatality, and the NYPD is fine with the DA taking some of the heat off them re: the decision to arrest.

After all, this livery driver is likely not going anywhere.

If the DA feels they have enough evidence for a charge, he can be arrested then.
