Shots fired - Pulaski Playground

The area cannot gentrify quickly enough.  

Hopefully stories like this will be history one day:  "I remember back X years ago, they used to shoot in that playground over there in broad daylight!  The kids seeing it never came forward because of the street code of not snitching.  It used to be a Brooklyn street thing - even people getting shot wouldn't talk to the cops, and the politicians came out all against the cops too.  Anyway, in that playground over there kids were afraid to use it in broad daylight because of guns.   Today, you'd never recognize the place!"   Over there?  Wow.  "Yeah, you'd never believe looking at it today, right?"

Live by that stupid code, die by that same stupid code. If you are not willing to step up and help the police find and prosecute these criminals, then you are doomed to live in a crime ridden neighborhood.  A tolerance of crime isnt good for anyone but the criminals.
