I wasn't the one who wrote it, but I can pretty much guarantee you that it was meant in the sense of "to spread into or through something gradually; seep." Usually when dailyheights tries to be funny, he succeeds; ergo, I assume he wasn't trying.

    damn... that's cold, woman...

BACKGROUND: Somebody asked if we could start a Bed-Stuy board. I said, well, why don't we just add Bed-Stuy to FG/CH. I got this response:

"Totally agree. Especially since Clinton Hill is bleeding into Bed Stuy proper anyways..."

Fair enough. I don't quite understand the concern, but in any case, we're not stuck with "bleeding". If someone wants to suggest an alternative tagline, I'll gladly put it up.

Subject: Thalia-- i tried to ignore it

at the same time i tried (unsuccessfully) to ignore the original misspelling of Bedford Stuyvesant on the forum title.

it definitely made me pause. but then i just added it to the millions of other borderline offensive things i hear/see on a daily basis.

How about "including that slice of paradise called Bed Sty"
