903 Franklin (near Crown) to become Pikliz, a Haitian themed cafe

This was formerly the site of Mountain, a place that served food and did acupuncture.

Neighborhood could really use one. Love Haitian food. 

Looking forward to seeing how this turns out as. The choice of calling it a "lounge" worries me, but excited for the additional food option.

I wonder if Pikliz will take down the yellow sign for the chinese restaurant that predated Mountain.

Has anyone been? The mezuzah on the door makes this place especially confusing

 I ate there when they first opened.  I was not impressed with the food. 

Ms. Whynot and I tried it about a one month after it opened. Service was really slow, and the food was mediocre at best.

... for those who are in the area and looking, Food Sermon is just a couple blocks away and a great dinner choice!

I had the griot (essentially, well-fried chunks of pork) and it hit the greasy spot. Good lunch prices too.
