All white cat - on Eastern Parkway between Bedford and Rogers this eve. 10/9 at around 10pm

Just thought I would let all know that when I was saying goodbye to guests, an all white cat was on the path.  It came towards me and allowed me to pick her/him up.  But then wanted to get away.  Last I saw them they went into the garden of church on corner of Eastern and Rogers on left side of parkway.  As you walk from Franklin Ave subway. 
I have left food out, just in case, but clearly it was someone's cat if they allowed me to pick it up.
I suspect they got scared and ran during thunderstorm earlier on.
