The stats regarding Supermarket square footage-not surprised. It's nice to have empirical evidence. 

Clearly, we should move to Forest Hills.

I think that the lack of supermarkets really effects more of eastern CH and probably PH. The Crown Heights North area (let's say from Franklin to Kingston Ave) has: Compare Foods near Franklin, Met Foods and Key Foods on Nostrand, and Super Foodtown on Fulton Street, in addition to many greengrocers and decent small markets/bodegas.
