Something Going In Next To Sepia ?

Came back from the Park and got a glimpse of some guys doing an interior on the Eas. Pkway neighbor of Sepia. I searched but I didn't see any threads about this. Any of that boarder intel. What was already in place looked kinda sushi, but we hardly need more of that.

It's a soul food place--I think there is a thread about it, but I'm not sure we know much.

I think it's going to be called "Cheryl's Global Soul Food" or something like that. So far, we've heard they also plan to be open for breakfast, which will be most welcome on this end of the neighborhood. They also had a poster up in the window saying that they'll be offering cooking classes. They've been doing some radical redesign of the interior of the old Carl's Place spot.

damn! I was hoping for a hair salon with a back yard...

I have never seen so many hair salons in my life. What's up with that?

There is a demand for it. People in the neighborhood take their hair very seriously, and the women pay a lot of money to get it done.

My old roommate is a hairdresser and I was amazed at the charges.

They also double as a social spaces where there is a ton of interaction with the locals.
