Is there a place other than the tea lounge where I can get free wireless? Preferably in south slope? Thanks!

Anyone know if they still plan to outfit Prospect Park with free wireless? I thought that was due to happen end of summer, like now-ish? That'd be nice!

they still plan on it. they were supposed to have done it by the end of august, according to the NYT. but i can't find any recent mentions of it.

I just saw a poster somewhere about some corporation paying for a bunch of parks wireless . . . there was no list, but it reminded me the city said they were aiming at it, and PP was on the list . . .

nope. WiFi Salon and Nokia were the names you saw, i'm guessing. that was reported in the NYT

Free wireless also at The Perch, 5th Av between 5th and 6th Streets.

Cafe Sutra 5th ave between 18th and 19th has free wireless
