It might not be fair, but I find it best to be suspicious of them all.

I wonder if the owners are being charged taxes on that land because if it's a community garden then they shouldn't have to pay a dime. The city can't have it both ways.

If the court process ultimately awards this lot to the city, it would not surprise me if they require affordable housing be built on it, and then auction it to the highest bidder.
