I cant tell where exactly the tons of ongoing sirens and blaring emergency vehicles are coming from, but its been going on for at least one hour (I think I noticed it start around 1130am and its still going at 1245pm...).  Sound seems to be somewhere in the zone between Eastern Pkwy & St Johns Place & between Franklin & Classon Aves.  Anyone have any info about what is going on? It sounds like it must be a very unfortunate situation...

Just paying attention to it now. It's insane. Lots and lots of sirens and honking. I hope no one was seriously hurt whatever is going on. Maybe an accident due to the weather.

A quick check of the breaking news first responder sites doesn't indicate anything, yet.

Definitely a separate issue...Quiet as can be here which is further west than where mystery noon-time emergency vehicle madness was happening...

The noontime madness remains a mystery.

I happened to be listening to my scanner at the time and there was a report of a robbery at the Popular Bank and that's close to there so maybe that had something to do with it.
