Park Slope Korean restaurant Moim closed over a month ago, but it hasn't been written about here since 2010, so let the record show:

At least the replacement won't be yet another ramen place. But the 7th Avenue side of that corner has had so many failures for "tapas-style food" -- Piccola Uva Wine Bar, 161 Wine & Tapas, and whatever preceded them -- despite being on the neighborhood's "main artery" that Moim's gushing New York Times review said would've helped.

I'll be surprised if a new izakaya gets a chance.

That's a shame. It was an excellent restaurant.
