I wonder if this new daycare is affiliated with the adjacent one on St. Johns, PKA Academy.

A sign in the window says that this will be the new location of Wortspiele, a German-immersion Montessori program. They're currently in the garden apartment of a house on St. John's and Washington. They have a halftime program for two-year-olds. And a full-time program with aftercare for three and four-year-olds. It's a cool location for Montessori school. There is a strong emphasis on natural materials, and I'm sure they will love the exposed brick walls.

Random observations:

1.    Two private daycares will be next to each other.    Perhaps they could have intermural sports or something?

2.    I believe this is THE FIRST large renovated bar restaurant space that was turned into an alternative use in the neighborhood in approximately 10 years.     

Bars turning into daycares....IT'S OVER!

It is only a matter of time before Daycare Crawls replace Bar Crawls.

They spelled "Brooklynian" as "Brooklonian"
