Art galleries in Park Slope

I was planning on walking thru the hood in search of galleries. Where should I start? I didn't want to drive anywhere so I was hoping for something maybe 20 square blocks around center slope. Also, if you know a website that would steer me in the right direction it would be much appreciated.

Download Google Earth and use it to zoom in on the map of Park Slope. Then enter "art galleries" into the "What" search window. Neighborhood art galleries will be marked on the map.

one off-beat home of Fifth Ave gallerydom is Bonnie's Grill (the diner)

they hang paintings on their walls, usually one artist at a time
sometimes it's good, sometimes it's great, sometimes it's crap and you wonder what the heck they were thinking

O.K. So I forot the name of the gallery but it's on 5th Ave btw. St. Marks & Park pl. on the side of Gorilla Coffee. THey had some great paintings and photos of Coney Island and other parts of Bklyn. When I get the name I'll post it.
