Blue Sky Bakery Now Open: 404 Rogers (@ Sterling)

I noticed this morning that the rumored Blue Sky Bakery at 404 Rogers at the border of PLG and Crown Heights is now open.

On FB they said this is a soft opening. They aren't going to have many hours this week.

(I wonder how long this location will last.)

Well their muffins and other stuff is phenomenal, probably the best muffins I've ever had, so hopefully they do very well.  And I heard (no idea if true) that they do a lot of their business by delivering their goods to other cafes, so maybe this will stay afloat by doing a bit of that.  

This location strikes me as being as strong as the site of CT Muffin on Nostrand.

...it appears to be doing well.

Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce was there Wed morning for a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

Proprietor (guy in the cap--Eric?) said they're currently open til mid-afternoon, but may extend their hours depending on demand.
