I predicted it back in 2013, and is now reported that the single story Mazon building has been sold.

Stuff is reportedly being cleared out now.

2013 thread: http://www.brooklynian.com/discussion/38830/hey-mazon-discount-store-on-franklin-when-are-you-going-to-sell

Mazon appears to have a strategy. The family purchases single story buildings and opens a location of the small chain. Several years later, the lot is sold at a profit.

Corner of EP and Franklin used to be a single story Mazon.

This one.

One on Nostrand...

Etc

So this one and the one across the street are history? Does that leave us without a discount store on Franklin between EP and Atlantic? That's really too bad.

There is one on Classon at approximately Dean.

    A few on Nostrand.

And, one on Washington near Konditori.

There's a discount store right below EP, on Franklin too.

That store has recently been listed for lease: http://www.brooklynian.com/discussion/47042/797-franklin-at-lincoln-presently-a-discount-store

Or, do you mean the big one near Union, on the south side of EP?

Meanwhile, the Mazon on Nostrand and Prospect continues to be open, at least until a developer makes it a good enough offer.
