Man shot in leg at Franklin and St. Johns, July 4, 2016 at 11:15 PM

Listening to my scanner last night....Bed-Stuy has this beat. Five people shot on Chauncey St. Two in front of 410 two in front of 350 and one around the corner on Saratoga. This was about 11:15 pm.

There are certainly far more violent neighborhoods than present day Crown Heights, and areas of Chicago come to mind.   

Citywide, they had already had 33 shootings over the July 4th weekend by 10:30 AM on Monday.
