Confused by the ask for money.  They're insured but need money to start work quickly since insurance takes time to kick in?  Does that mean they reimburse funders, or insurance backs out what they raise, or they just pocket it?

It is not clear to me that the owners are the ones who created the gofundme page.

Perhaps a friend or loyal customer took the initiative with out their knowledge?

The GF was started by the loyal customer. I assume insurance will cover some, but since Fulton (the owner) is a small business owner, it will take time for insurance to kick in.

I looked in earlier this week, and it seems they have removed much of the evidence of the fire.

A sign stated the fire was electrical.

Stocked has reopened as of this afternoon! (For some reason they're cash only for now.)

Three of us had Sunday lunch there and the food was great (no surprise ), the staff very very friendly, and the space itself looked fresh and brand new. I was told the cash only is only for a week or so. Still the best iced coffee around. Starbucks could learn from them!
