omg, this is hilarious. it's like they could have avoided it by just taking a screenshot from google earth or something

So, I guess that unsavvy buyers will not realize that when there's an expressway there's usually cars and trucks passing by. I think it was done just to make the site more visible as there's plenty of vehicles parked in front of the lot.

I don't view this as an attempt to actually hide the existence of the Gowanus, but perhaps it is an attempt to minimize just how crowded and miserable it is 24 x 7 x 365.

Triple pane windows seem to be a required a starting point.

Noise might not be so much a deal breaker as diesel pollution from all the trucks that use 3rd Ave. as well as the expressway.

The windows will certainly need to be washed frequently.
