Peppa's Jerk Chicken Comes to Prospect Place and Nostrand!

Spotted a sign for PEPPA'S Jerk Chicken on what was the Basic Needs (which itself used to be Exquisite). If this is the real Peppa, we have found a worthy heir to the corner formerly ruled by Exquisite.

I think the person on the right is supposed to be Spike Lee.

Peppa's is now OPEN for business! I aw a sign saying that it was part of "Exquisite Enterprises." They have the huge barbecue grill/smoker going strong. I am so happy.

It opened a week ago Friday. I stopped in this past Friday evening and got a small Jerk Chicken only. It was delicious and I gnawed on it all weekend.

Also, hello. Relatively new to both the site and to Crown Heights. Long-time Brooklyn dweller, though.
