Shots fired around 8:50 PM NY Ave near St Marks

Myself and several others heard about four shots fired in rapid succession.  We were standing on the corner of Park Place and NY.  They seem to come from NY Ave and St Marks, just guessing.

For over two weeks there has been a police remote office sitting at St. Marks and NY Ave.  I saw an ambulance heading down Park Place towards NY Ave a few minutes after hearing the shots.  

Any word on what happened?

I have not seen any reports of injuries on the twitter feeds I follow.

shots are from Prospect place and new york. at 9 p.m. last night. and there was a shooting at 11 am on Nostrand and bergen yesterday also.  Part of the gang turf war between St. Johns place and Bergen street boys. one person wounded in each shooting. non life-threatening injuries.  Straight from the policemen's mouth.
