Fatal shooting overnight on Prospect, near Utica. August 28, 2016

"In Crown Heights, another 26-year-old man was fatally shot outside a home on Prospect Pl. near Utica Ave. shortly after 3:40 a.m., police said.

He was rushed to Interfaith Medical Center, where he died, officials said. His name was not immediately released."

"CROWN HEIGHTS, Brooklyn — A man was shot early Sunday morning in Crown Heights. Around 3:40 a.m., police responded to a call at 1333 Prospect Place and found a 26-year-old man with multiple gunshot wounds. He was unconscious and unresponsive. EMS workers transported the man to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.  No arrests have been made and police are conducting an investigation of the incident. Identification of the man is currently withheld pending family notification."
