Very Loud Jet

Just heard what sounded like an extremely low jet passing overhead.  Scary.  Anyone know what it was?

It was a flyover in observance of 9/11.

fighters are doing flyovers this weekend for the 15th anniversary of Sept 11th.

Creepy if you ask me.

I'm not sure, but I think the time of day was chosen to be about the time that they flew over the day Bush visited Ground Zero, when the bullhorn shot was taken.

Think I just heard another.

It was likely a flyover for the US Open. They had one a little after 4pm today.

I actually heard and saw all five fly by.
