I am trying to organize a regular (monthly?) lunch in the neighborhood for freelancers. Please PM me if you are interested!

It sounds like fun, but I'm not a freelancer.

I don't really think of myself as exactly a freelancer, but close enough. This is a good idea. I'll be happy to attend.

PS, but I'm flexible on place. Timing is sometimes hard for me though. Are you getting a lot of PMs?

Thats a great idea! Im a freelance graphic designer and have been working from home alot lately.

Meeting up with local folks for lunch would be a great incentive to get out of the house at a decent hour and catch a lunch special.

Any ideas/suggestions on where to go?

Crap. I'm a freelance art director, but I think I'm actually going to be offered a full-time gig today. Would have loved to do this for the past 7 months that I was freelancing...especially on those summer days when my apt. was crazy hot. Awesome idea. Hope it works out well.

Is the monthly freelance lunch happening? I just moved to Park Slope. I freelance and I'd be interested. I think it's a great idea.
