Vacant Space Btw. Wash/Classon on Sterling?

Wood has been up fo forever. Developer signs are on the wood. Anyone know what is going on with that vacancy? Seems like it has been that way for 3 + years. :?:

Is this what you're talking about? There are a couple of sites under development there - one on the north side of the street, one on the south.

If you mean the vacant lot between the driveway to the fire house and the auto shops, the site was supposed to be a condo, but now is the subject of litigation by mortgagees, the City for unpaid taxes. I believe one of the principals behind the LLC that was trying to develop the site is in jail. Until about two years ago there was a hole in the ground, but the city has filled it in. A recent development is repair of the chain link fence and the addition of "Keep Out" signs. The Bank of New York has been assigned the tax lien, so I imagine that some building work will take place just as soon as title has been assured. Count on it being a condo.

Isn't this in Crown Heights?
