Closed: away we go postal

@ 751 Franklin. Passed by this morning and spotted a "for rent" sign

Wish I could say too bad...but they were never very helpful to me. After awhile, I just ended up going to Lincoln Postal, where the owner is an absolute delight.

In light of how often people are buying stuff via Amazon, I would think this would be a good time to be in the shipping and receiving business.

Maybe it was just the Away We Go group...other shipping/receiving businesses seem to be doing quite well..

I love Lincoln Postal too!  The owner Dean is a delight, agreed!

The Franklin Ave. location was abysmal. High prices, broken computers, barely attentive staff. However, I always found the employees at the Washington Ave. location to be friendly and very helpful.

Last time I went to Lincoln Postal it was very busy, and Dean said it was because all the Away We Go locations had closed. More business for him!

He runs a great shop, by the way. We have a PO box there and it's so nice not to worry about our new passports being stolen out of our mailbox.

Another shout out for Dean at Lincoln postal. A mensch!

Work is happening in the Franklin location

The former location of Away We Go Postal on Washington has become a dry cleaning store.

not sure we're ready for that...

I don't know yet whether it will focus on pet food, or pet grooming.
