Is it typically NYC of me that the first thoughts I had while watching this were of extreme apartment envy?

right? me too! haha! i was like, "they have a yard?!"

I've been to his place (where the video was shot) and its worth being envious of. Its way nice, and so is he.

From every interview I've ever read with him and every video he's been in on Stereogum.com, he does seem like a nice fella.

Are you comfortable telling us which neighborhood he lives in? I'm just curious -- that is SUCH a great apartment.

I probably shouldn't. He's got some pretty die hard fans and I'd hate for one to come across this post and then start going door to door...

But yeah, he's a total sweety. My old band toured with him a few years back and we had a great time. He's got friendly fans, a great band and a lovely wife, who by the way is the woman in the video.
