New Construction on Vanderbilt Gates

Anyone know anything about the building going up at the corner of Vanderbilt and Gates? It looks like they might be new coops...

I live adjacent to that new building and they splattered concrete all over my building's exterior and windows so my neighbors have nothing good to say about these folks. Looks like a pretty "cheapo" kind of construction, too. It looks better now that they have the dececntly-sized windows installed, though.

I did hear that they originally wanted to make it much taller and the plans got rejected. Maybe that was just rumor, though.
