Its an excellent way to find music that is similar to the ones that you already like.

Pandora IS cool -- I second the recommendation! BTW, have you seen the Lifehacker article on how to get more out of Pandora?

I'm also very into Last.fm, which you should check out if you haven't already. I've discovered lots of bands and artists by checking out what my friends and people with similar tastes to mine are listening to and from Last.fm's recommendations. You do have to be using it for a while before it's gotten a good enough sampling of what you listen to for it to work well, but it's worth it.

I do wish more people were on it, though.

only bugaboo about it is that it's very processor intensive and will crash your computer no problem
