wildlife trapper truck???

what is the deal with the wildlife/trapper truck and station wagon that are often parked in south slope. anyone know what i am talking about? are they for real? has anyone seen the owners?

    that would be him! i didn't actually read that post but now i know. i always wondered if he was for real or just had an odd mode of transporation.
