bagelworld

I just want everyone to know that the folks that work at Bagel World on 5th and 6th (?) pulled a fast one and charged me extra for light cream cheese, even though on their overhead menu it says $1.50 for a bagel w/ plain cream cheese.

Although its only a dollar, they were rude about it and spoke to me like I was an idiot. I will never go back there again after being taken advantage of and treated that way.

This of course begs the all important question, is low-fat, plain or specialty cream cheese?

You should be charged more-if the sign says plain cream cheese-I think that means regular, non special cream cheese. You asked for special cream cheese, so, you pay more.

I don't get it. "Light cream cheese"? Like putting less cream cheese than usual on a bagel? If so, I don't think you can expect to get charged less for that. Not that I'd ever ask for less cream cheese on a bagel. And I agree with the other Guest that if you mean special cream cheese, it may cost more because it's a specialty product.

If you want to petition Bagel World to start making better bagels than the oversweet air mattresses they sell, I'll sign up, but you don't have my sympathy yet. Need more details.

Linus, I don't think we're talking about a schmear, but the lower fat cheese "Neufchatel"
