Bed Stuy takeout options

I love on lafayette and bedford and after moving from park slope i'm feeling seriously deprived on takeout options. I try using menupages but its difficult when we're not even LISTED


What's everyones favorite delivery in the area?

Not a lot of places to choose from. I'd try Sugarhill. Its on the corner of Nostrand and Dekalb. You can't miss the awning, restaurant is upstairs. Don't know that they are delivering, but you can get takeout or eat in. They have live music (usually jazz or r&b) a couple of nights a week.

There are a few Chinese joints.

There are definitely more. When I am out walking around, I always grab take out menus from places. It helps to have my own stash. I will post some places.

try ruthie's on myrtle and there's a new veggie soul food spot on tompkins called brooks cafe

I live near you. Most of the restaurants on Myrtle deliver out this way. Try some of the restaurants listed here.

We live on Putnam between Marcus Garvey and Throop... any recommendations for delivery I cannot find ANY :-(

I was spoiled in Fort Greene/Clinton Hill...

I have only been able to order Chinese and Papa John's - Solomon's Porch does take out, but it's so close, I just eat there.

Please post any suggestions! Sometimes, it's too cold to go out. 8-[

You can have papa johns or domino's. If you ever looked into one of those Chinese places you would never order there again. THANK THE HEAVENS FOR SOLOMONS but the need deliver.
