LOOKINGTO RENT !

Hi - am a Brit looking to move from her 'this will do for now' apartment in Chelsea into a 'now, this is home and I even have room to cook' in Brooklyn.
Good job, references and all that admin available. Cant bear to go through brokers or live in an anonymous block. Completely respsonsible when I need to be, can make a great cup of tea and will politely laugh at American jokes even though I'm English and can dog sit if needbe.
In an ideal world, would love space, light, outdoor access, reasonable rent and nice landlords.
Any offers please??

I found a multitude of non-broker listings on Craigslist. I found my place through there--so much easier to rent than my past experiences in Manhattan, no fees and my landlord is amazing. I know his last apartment has been rented (or so I think), but you should have no problem finding a place around here.

I just found an AMAZING for-rent-by-owner brownstone apartment on Craigslist. It's definitely the first place to check.
