What happened to the touchy-feely rules of being nice? Why is there a dumbass option added to my poll? That isn't nice or neighborly now is it?

Who ever is the mean, mean, lil' meanie who wrote this: Because it's the original board from which the rest of this site grew, dumbass!

The numbers still don't compensate. The PS/Crown Heights boards display that they began 7 months after the PH board, yet there are more than double the posts this one forum alone than the PS one and several times that than the CH one. Why is that?

Why was someone so mean to Papa Smurf without doing their math?

no, "dumbass" is not nice or neighborly. your question is legitimate. I didn't change your poll.

That said, the "dumbass" option of the poll is the correct answer.

If growth were linear in nature, you might have a point... but it's not. Think exponential - once something gains steam, it gains even more steam, so on and so forth. Demographics aside, that more than compensates for the discrepancies.

Also, the Park Slope board and the Prospect Heights board are the only ones with a blog that steers traffic their way (DailySlope.com and DailyHeights.com respectively). Daily Heights was first, and the Park Slope board was a ghost town for a long time until the Daily Slope blog started, even though the message board was created only 7 months after the PH board. More recently, the traffic on PS and PH are about equal, and both get way more traffic than any of the other boards.

If they mod decides you're a dumbass then a dumbass you shall be. It could even be made a status for above pictures--e.g., regular, way too incestual, dumbass.

I prefer the PH board because there's a lot more poo flinging and passionate arguments that end in someone being called a yuppie gentrifier. Us PS have embraced our yuppie gentrifier status and now are forced to complain about gender neutral pronouns for describing knitted headwear. Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz....maybe we need a Young Snitch of our own.

The reason is, and I think you'll all agree, that the buzz you get from anonymously lumping other people into precast notions of class and race simply can't be duplicated by any chemical whether natural or synthetic.

Gentriconfrontation-- better than sex, and only available right here in our very own prospect heights message board.
