nostrand ave to get high speed bus

The MTA says this will make trips on this line 20% faster. It's still a year or two out but good nonetheless.

That sounds great in theory but Nostrand is only two lanes and everybody parks in the damn bus stops. Motorists also fail to understand why there is no parking on the west side of the street from 4 pm to 7 pm which is to allow rapid passage of the buses. Only time will tell.

True, it will be interesting to see how it plays out. One thing that will be good is that they are putting cameras on the front of the buses that will photograph (leading to a ticket) any cars parked in the bus stop or bus lane. This should significantly cut down on this double parking.
