I know this is a pretty mundane question, but having lived in the CH area for 6 weeks now -- I cannot find a shoemaker anywhere... can anyone recommend one? Thanks in advance.

I believe there's a shoe repair on Waverly between Lafayette and Greene.

I was just about to recommend same spot. It's a hole in the wall (next to laundromat) but the owner's always busy, so I assume that's a good sign.

I wish I knew this fella's name because he is the BEST! He's always done right by me whenever I've taken stuff to him.

Old world charm, old world quality and, best of all, old world prices. =D>
