You may have noticed, the FORUMS list is getting longer. We're working some topic specific areas in addition to new neighborhoods.

Everything is getting tweaked right now. If you have an ax to grind or a brilliant idea about how this could work, drop it in the Board Admin at

Nice! If I could make one small suggestion, perhaps the Brooklyn Runners Forum could be named more broadly to include people who do other forms of fitness besides running, e.g., Brooklyn Fitness?

Just my opinion, but I hate the way the board has become so thoroughly subdivided. I'm sure I'm missing interesting posts because I don't have time to click on each of 20 forum.

    Second that.
It should either be topics, ie politics, fitness, or neighborhoods. What if I want to talk about biking in Prospect Park, and my apt in Clinton Hill in the same post? Ohhh the humanity.

The hope is that eventually we will be able to cross-post to a neighborhood AND topic forum. So if you are talking about biking in Park Slope, your post will show up in both the Fitness forum and the Park Slope forum.

Third that. I too like to just pop on quickly and not have to jump from area to area.
