Here's hoping posters might answer the following questions: why did you choose to live in Park Slope? What do you like and dislike about the neighborhood?Comments

It's convenient to everything. Work in midtown, play in the park or at the Y, shop on 7th or 5th Avenues, close enough to all three area airports, and my ancestral home and beaches heading east on the island known as Long.
Also, things are on a human scale. Buildings, most shops, and [yes] people.
Relatively quiet and crime-free.
The view from my home office window.
Can put up with some of the "people's republic" crap. -

There are SOOOO many hot daddies here. -
mariePS has an amazing neighborhood feel--in a way the landscape is quintessential Bklyn.
It would be nicer if there were a wider array of inhabitants, though. The predominantly young population (with or without kids) makes my Dad feel really old when he comes to visit. -

+1!
hahahha
I like it because of the park and it is a nice clean and safe nabe with a good variety of people like me (get it, variety, like me... never mind).
I like the cleaned up brownstones and all the places to eat and it takes me 20-25 minutes to get to work in SoHo. Plus occasional late night cab rides are not "too" expensive. -
