I need to get a document notarized.

Does anywhere know of somewhere in the neighborhood I can get this done?

Thx!

Don't know of any specific spot, but, most attorney's offices, real estate offices and banks have at least one employee that is a notary. Some places will not notarize documents for you unless you are a client (banks for example usually want you to have an account with them) but many will do it so long as you are willing to pay a nominal fee (I've done it for as little as $2).

I think the Prospect Heights Realty Corp. office on Vanderbilt btwn. St. Marks & Prospect has a notary sign in their window...

RUSSO is a NOTARY. I don't know for sure where the office is, but as you approach the corner of 9th St & Smith, across from the scrapyard, you see a number of hand-painted signs saying RUSSO NOTARY. So if PH Realty doesn't pan out, and you need to go down to Lowe's anyways, look for RUSSO.

Also, the UPS store on Flatbush (next to Burrito Bar) has a notary...

    Thanks!

Seems there are many places I can try. I'll check out the UPS Store first as that's the most convenient location to me.

    Subject: notary

Go to Wilkerson Mail Box Rental at 593 Vanderbilt Avenue. In addition to notary services, they are a full service mailing facility and Western Union agent.

And the members of the group are some of the greatest people you'll ever meet.

FYI - by law in NY, a notary is only allowed to charge 2 dollars.

Just wanted to bump this as another thread requesting notary info came up.
