Adorable, sweet-as-can-be, approximately 1-year-old male tabby cat with white paws and belly. "Nigel" has FeLV (feline leukemia virus) and FIV (feline immunodeficiency virus). Nigel appeared in my Brooklyn backyard one week ago, hungry and wanting to come inside. Not in any way feral, Nigel was obviously once someone's pet. Super easy-going, Nigel would be a wonderful companion for another FeLV/FIV positive cat. An extraordinarily cat, if Nigel is provided with a indoor, stress-free environment, he could live for years. Due to his friendly disposition, vet has agreed to keep him for up to ten days, in hopes of finding him a home. Nigel is newly neutered and vaccinated, and appears completely healthy and symptom-free both visually and in his energy level.

What a beautiful little boy! Thanks for rescuing him. Be sure to advertise on Craig's List and post flyers everywhere. A lot of people have FELV/FIV + cats and I'm sure that they would enjoy having Nigel as a playmate for their cat. Good luck!

Thanks for the encouragement, and I'm trying to keep my hopes up. Yes, I've posted on Craig's List, and a number of other places....

    Best,
