Ft. Greene brownstone apt. search

Hi, I've recently come to terms with the fact that I have to move. I'd love to live in a 1-2 bedroom apartment in a Ft. Greene (my current neighborhood) brownstone. I've been to a few brokers, all of whom were very nice, but I've always had better luck when given leads by friends. I'm wondering if anyone could help me out. I'm month to month, so I can hold off if need be. Also, if anyone has apartment searching tips, please let me know. Thank you all for your help.
