Jobs in PS

Where would be a good place to look for jobs in Park Slope, aside for Craigslist? Please suggest community websites, local papers, etc....
TIA!

anonymousYou might try Digital Brooklyn, they have a classifieds section with an employment category, but nothing seems to be listed at the moment.

Try also the "Brooklyn Papers" ... Park Slope version. It's free all over the place: in restaurants, the post offices, etc.
The Courier News (if it's still being published) also has classifieds.
Then again, there is the good old New York Times (aka "The Tissue of Lies" ... but that's neither here nor there in terms of classifieds I guess).
Good luck !! -

The NYT is the official paper of record of the United States. What they print is officially what actually happened. -
anonymousThanks for the suggestions.
Yeah the NYT is a rag, 'scuse the expression. -

What NY paper would you consider to be better?

WSJ may have better finance coverage (although FT would be better still if that's what you're interested in), but doesn't have the same level of journalism on the whole. The Post and the News shouldn't even rightly be called newspapers. They're tabloids with decent sports pages. Newsday used to be OK, but now they're mainly a LI paper. The Sun? I don't think so... -

I don't do dead tree news. I download news feeds to my palm pilot in the morning for the subway ride. 8) -

Calling itself the paper of record does not necessarily mean it IS the paper of record, or that there is in fact a paper of record anymore, given the gross consolidation and corporate influence in the media which has occured over the past few years.
And "official" according to whom? Carl Rove?
Judith Miller anyone? -

I think it Carnivore meant that in sarcasm.

carnivoreI was being sarcastic.
On the other hand, I still remember Ms. Sands, my 5th Grade Social Studies teacher at PS 251:Educated people read the New York Times every day.
It was true then, and it's true now. -

I think it is great that the Newbies go back and try and get a sense of history of the board. -
