Thai, or other Asian in the area

I'm new to the area and have been trying to scout out a nice Thai or other asian restaurant. Something a step up from the Chinese takeouts... not that I have anything against Chinese food. A nice sit down Chinese restaurant (MSG free) would do fine, thank you. But what I'm really looking for is Thai or good sushi.

Anyone know of a place in the Cortelyou, Newkirk area?

There's a Thai place on McDonald Ave. that delivers all over Ditmas and Kensington, called Am Thai Chili Basil. It's mostly takeout only, and it's quite good. There's Sushi Yu on Prospect Park West that delivers around here, and Chikurin in Midwood, also delivers here. The only non-bulletproof Chinese I know of near here is Yen Yen, on Church and E. 4th.

I second the Thai place on McDonald-- it's pretty decent and delivers to the Cortelyou area. Wasn't crazy about Sushi Yu, but I'm picky about my sushi.

The sushi is really good, and inexpensive. The cooked food is also pretty good.
