New York and Pacific

At approx 4:00pm yesterday 3 male black teens approached a 16 year old on the corner of New York and Pacific. Perp #1 displayed a black semi-automatic firearm and demanded the victims jacket, shirt, timberland boots and two cell phones. The victim states that all 3 perps were strangers to him.

dang thats harsh, stealing boots or shoes isn't cool. few times that i got jack. i had to walk around barefoot. damn the nyc streets full of glass and stuff.

we need more cam's in the street like london.

Kids in the neighborhood are constantly using the "i just got robbed" story to hide the truth to their parents about what really happened to their cell phone, PSP, or any other high priced item but this time I really have to believe the kid. The stole his damn boots! I can't imagine the kid ditching his boots, jacket, shirt and 2 phones just to cover up something like running up his cell phone bill.

It reminds me of the early 90's when people were getting killed for their 8 ball jacket or starter jacket. Crazy!

Any word on the 9 or so shots fired this morning on Nostrand? It was about 5am and woke me up. Haven't been back to sleep since.

That's very concerning to me, since I'm moving my family to Bergen bet. NY & Brooklyn Ave. early next year. I hope the perps are apprehended.
