how about a forum for restaurant reviews, opinions, and fights?

i'm very willing to travel for good food, so it seems to me that this could be non-neighborhoody.

    This idea is good a one.
    Many of the board posters are into commentary about the Food & Drink in Brooklyn so this forum can include the bars, cafes, dessert shops etc.

    I kind of like having the food options separated by neighborhood. However, this may not be an issue for long. Dailyheights is looking into a new way of sorting posts that would allow multiple tags. This would allow a thread about Chinese restaurants in Park Slope to be listed in the Park Slope forum while also appearing in a Brooklyn dining forum.

    Once this is implemented, I would be all for a restaurant/bar/dessert forum.

    No, the approach we are taking is:

    1. You start posting something in one board
    2. You can select one or more other boards to cross-post to.

    I guess it's essentially "tagging", but a bit more structured. Pretty much just like when you do a post on a blog, you can pick multiple "categories" where the post should appear.
