I think he's wishing the preview function would also allow you to preview the last post in the thread (in addition to the first one).

Exactly! Sometimes threads take interesting turns, sometimes they continue on the same path... If we could preview the last post a little more quickly & easily, a turn in the conversation (one that might reignite interest) wouldn't go unnoticed as easily. For example - I posted in the "Cupcakes at Freddy's" thread, about Isa's book - GREAT NEWS! But no one has posted since, so either a) no one noticed, or b) no one cared. I can only assume that 'b' isn't the case, so it must be 'a,' aye?

so this would be a separate preview linked to somewhere else, like the new posts icon ( ->[] ) in the right-hand column?
