Apartment Hunting in Brooklyn (bedstuy, clinton hill etc)

I have been looking for an apartment in brooklyn. I went to this cool website www.bkapartments.com The guy is really cool and has tons of great stuff. I just want to make sure that I am making the best choice.

The apartment there just seem a tad bit overpriced.

Please pleasae don't rent through this person. The apartments are WAY overpriced plus the Brooklyn apartments are mainly in shady areas.

I know the stuff is a little expensive but you get what you payfor.
I lived in Clinton hill and I had a dump.
Each apartment that they showed me was a pretty nice space. Don't really know much about what is available. My boyfriend feels the same way I feel and we just may dive in to the apartment that they have.
