NY Sun Mystery

Since late July (or so), I have been receiving random copies of the NY Sun wrapped with my Financial Times. I'm not a NYS subscriber and there is neither name nor label on that paper...I'm on Fulton and S.Elliot...have any of my neighbors been missing their Sun? I have called them 3 times to iron things out and yet, like its namesake, the paper arrives every morning.

I wouldn't be surprised if you were getting it free for some kind of promo. Your readership (ie ad money) is more important to them than your subscription money.

That's what I thought initially, but they denied that they were/are running anything. I feel wasteful tossing it every day and guilty that it might be someone else's......

well, if it makes you feel any better the NY Sun counts you as a reader (and thus gets more revenue) whether you read it or not! So it may be killing trees, but at least someone's making money.

It's not a bad little paper. If I got it every day, I might read it on my way to work. Might.

True, true. And it could be so much worse...it could be the Journal.
