I used to go to Leila at Le Chandelier for my hair cuts, and was so disappointed to hear that she is no longer working there. Does anyone happen to be in touch with her or know if she is now working at another salon?

Thanks!

Leila opened her own hair salon on 4th Ave. and President. I had highlights done there in October before my wedding and they came out really well.

after reading the rave reviews i decided to give her a shot. and got the worst cut of my life. she spent very little time on the cut itself and the result is a choppy mess, not the trim that i requested.

She is not a colorist and her haircuts are a butchery.

I've found Leila to be my favorite hairdresser because she listens to my requests, rather than pushing me to do something I'm not comfortable with. I actually like that she's fairly swift and I don't have to spend a long time having my hair cut very slowly, and if when she's done, I want her to trim more or change something, she's happy to do so. I have long hair and hate leaving a place feeling like too much was cut, so I like her because she understands that a trim does not mean chopping a lot.

I don't know - I had a really bad experience with her, when she was at Le Chanelier. She completely ignored my requests and cut my hair the way she wanted. I was left living with the results while it grew out. I don't think I would let her cut my hair again. Just my 2 cents.
